SKILPAD POTJIE WITH SOUR CREAM

Skilpadjies (liver with netvet) is another of my favourite dishes when I go camping. Skilpadjies are usually fried in a pan or grilled on an open fire. This time I decided to prepare a potjie.
Method
Brown the skilpadjies, onion and garlic inside the pot. Add water just enough to cover the skilpadjies. Add Vegetables and season to taste. Close the lid and let it simmer, the pot should be ready within an hour or so. Serve the skilpadjies with sour cream and a side dish of rice or salad.
