HILIGHT STAR 300 RECHARGEABLE LANTERN

Just love this rechargeable LED lamp. In fact, I have two of them and when fully charged they last me an entire weekend. On longer trips and at camp-sites with power I simply charge them during the day.

It comes with an integrated hook and is ideal for hanging inside the tent. The lamp is not heavy and perfect for large tents as well as smaller hiking tents. The lamp can also be placed on a flat surface like a table for outdoor use.

This lamp is easy to travel with and does not take up a lot of space. It gives of a bright white light that can be dimmed. It comes with three fold-able side panels and when unfolded provide more than enough light without having to put it on the brightest setting.

It has six different settings but I only use two of these. When fully charged it will last approximately 3 hours on the brightest setting and approximately 6 hours on the dim setting. More than enough for an evening or two. I have been camping with these lamps for a year now and have not experienced any trouble.

However, the lamps are charged with a normal cellphone charger which is also the only thing I don’t like about these lamps. The connection point for the charger feels somewhat flimsy; and for one of the lamps I constantly find myself having to use an alternative charging cable than what was supplied with the lamp.

Apparently the lamp is splash resistant and it certainly looks and feels splash resistant but I have not used it in the rain.
